hi everyone. how are you all. its been so long once again.
so here i am at work. my first time ever opening the front door with a key. im stepping up in the world folks. soooo.. umm there is so much happening that i need to discuss but where does one start?
so my boss told me that i was gonna be packing, photographing, and doing domain names today.. but what does the note say on my desk when i come in? "No domains- do ebay stuff. Then go through planes & knives on coffee table, group & photo." What the fuck does that even mean? could we be more vague? there is so much ebay stuff to do and all he says is "do ebay stuff." MOTHERFUCKER! i totally just wanted to sit at my work station today with my thumb up my ass but now i have to go in the back and pack stuff and click and ship it.. then call rob and ask him what the fuck "do ebay stuff" means. which sucks that i have to bother him on his day off, but hey- im sure he's expecting it.
so the 15th was my 20th birthday. la de freakin da. now i know im not old or anything.. but i am having a quarter life crisis. im not a teenager anymore, im officially in my 20s. i've just been looking around at my friends and putting years on them.. like ryan doyle... we have been friends for going on 8 years now. me and renee? close to 11 years. me and the condons? a whopping like 14 years! kelc.. well we met when we were 4 but the friendship didnt start to bloom till 6th grade. even tara and briana i have been friends with for like 5 years or something. lisa i have been friends with since we were in the 1st grade. even my roomate lauren, its only been 3 years but the fact that we kept in touch when neither of us were going to franklin pierce, and then i get her to move down here.. its just wild. i love having the same friends for years, its the best feeling ever. ryan and keegan are my only new friends, and i definetely think that i will have them as friends for a really longtime too.
so the point was that i turned 20. and ryan doyle let me have a keg party at his house. i had a head count of 16 people that were supposed to go down there with me at one point.. in the end, a total of 6, including me. i know some people just could not go under any circumstance, and thats fine.. but for those who just blew it off.. thats fine.. cuz i had the best of the best there and thats whats important. it was me, jen, erin, briana, keegan, and ryan. we all slept next to each other on ryan's floor, so close together that we could barely move.. and the kid (whom we call story of the year) who was sleeping on ryans bed kept having us do roll call.. so every couple minutes you would hear "keegan, amanda, briana, jen, ryan, and erin" (that was the order we were sleeping in). i had to wake up b4 everyone else and take a picture of that, which im gonna get developed today hopefully. we played a lotta beer pong.. ryan performed which is always awesome. he stayed up till the wee hours that morning writing me another song. he came all the way up last night from seekonk with his guitar to play it for me. it was fucking the raddest shit man. he's the greatest <3.
charley got his license back and actually came over and hung out last night. aww i love him. i've been friends with him since 8th grade too.
ok so you guys wanna know what i got for my bday? let me recap:
briana: punky brewster dvd set season 1 and a $20 gift certificate to scargo cafe
jen: a facial which i will be getting on saturday at noon
erin: a carton of camel lights i think.. hhe
keegan: the fan edition dvd of empire records
ryan: a cannibus sativa textile poster that he tacked above my bed, and black light bulb
mom & dad: a whopping 50 bucks
dad's mom: $105
Condons: shitload of awesome candles and the amazing polaroids from the halloween party!!
myself: the new eminem cd
kelcey: tickets to blue man group on the 26th
ashton: taking me to olive garden on sunday night
if i forgot anyone its cuz im a stoner and not cuz i literally forgot, ok? lol
i have gone a consecutive like 8 days we think.. seeing either keegan, ryan, or both. we are on a fucking roll. those guys man.. they really get me.
i love the word sarcasm.
we saw team america world police and i <3 huckabees at the trope this week. i liked i <3 huckabees a lot. the other movie was kinda stupid.
we rented gia, the new best friend, outside providence, and elf this week. i hafta watch mulholland drive tonight.. so im persuading keegan to come down and watch it with me since he was the one that told me it was a must see.
jen is out soon. briana is in. im happy about briana being in, but im sad about jen being out. <3
lisa crashed the extreme. : ( it was her fault. now they are driving a ford topaz until they figure out if the car is totaled or not. ohh my lisa luva. <3
now i totally forgot what else i was gonna say. im tired.
and lauren has been saying how i get all the guys recently and that really pisses me off.. cuz what she sees is me having a lotta guy friends and like snuggling with them on the couch and stuff.. but what she doesnt realize is that maybe 3 of them would actually ever date me, and those 3 are the only ones im not interested in. you think you know, but you have no idea. inner motherfucking turmoil.
