July 11th, 2006 - "impulsive update"

i don't know why i felt the need to update right now.
but i do.
so here i am.

it's tuesday.
i can't believe it's ONLY tuesday.
i think i'm still tired from amy provost's wedding.
possibly the best wedding i have ever been to.
well, at least most comfortable for me.

amy was a beautiful bride.
had her dress been yellow, she would have looked EXACTLY like belle (from beauty and the beast).
she picked all the music for her wedding...
she walked down the aisle with her dad to "somewhere over the rainbow"..
and then after they were married she walked down the aisle with luke singing and dancing to ray charles.
she's such a fucking riot.
so then when we went inside, and the introduced the wedding party, they played the ghostbusters theme.
and then later on, amy sang etta james' "at last" to luke... which was pretty mindblowing.
she's so fucking fantastic.
those damn provosts.
AND, it was open bar.
we were drinking from 11:30-4:30.
needless to say, mike, keegan and i passed out hard when we got home.
at like, 5.
powernaps are harmless.

yesterday i was supposed to quit smoking.
instead, i bought another pack.
why? because i love cigarettes.
so fucking deal with it amanda.
weight loss, THEN cig loss.
duh.
don't try to take on too much at once, like always.

erin and i went to visit heather in RI last night.
we smoked out of this bubbler/bong thing with a slide, no carb.
it was FUCKING INTENSE.
i love going to their house.

you will not only see "marvin" the bubbler guy, but will also see the customized beer pong table that is hooked up to an electronic pulley system on ryan's screened in porch.
it's fucking unreal.
and we went to visit ryan since he was stuck at work.
he's so high tech, it's intimidating.
they have a little hedgehog there, cus it's their company mascot.
so cute, but scared.

keegan bought me the hbo channels i wanted yesterday!
i was so psyched.
i said i would pay for them. he agreed.
then said forget it, we are splitting it right down the middle.
i guess i can't argue with that.

things have been weird lately.
with a lot of people i think.
a lot of things are changing around here.
life changes are getting intense.
i think that's why i'm so big on having my own life change.
i made all mine when keegan and i started dating.
but now i need more.
goals and whatnot.
i might take an accouting class with erin in the fall.
she might have talked me into it last night.
i hate math. but i guess it's one less class i would have to take later in life.

keegan and i also decided that we wanna get married next year instead of 2008.
but i don't think we can pull it off.
although, i don't think we can pull it off in 2008 either.
so maybe we could.
guess i will have to have that chat with mom.
ah well.

i'm currently over-hearing brenda's conversation with nan's doctor.
apparently nan is having hallucinations that far exceed what brenda has ever dealt with before.
that's scary shit.
i hate hearing things like that.
