February 16th, 2005 - "ohh valentine's day- you wear me out"

ok so i know that everyone is dying to know about my one and only unbelievable valentine's day of a life time. so here goes.
i managed to get all my work done an HOUR early on v-day.. which is huge first of all. got home by 4:30.. and had one hour to finish my vday gifts for the boys. AND i had to find something nice to wear.. which wasnt as hard as trying to find shoes. anyway point is i actually got dressed up. but when i say dressed up i just mean a long skirt i dont usually wear. hah.
so i met up with the guys at ryans house at about 6:40pm. ryan was stressed about getting ready and outta the house cuz they had passed out for like 2 hours before i got there. no biggie.
so then i got roses. ah yes, the key to my heart. (and let me note that all gifts received on this night were a collaborative effort on both ryan and keegan's parts). next came a little vday bag which consisted of (now brace yourselves): atkins chocolates (aww how sweet), a card from each, and 3 FUCKING CONCERT TICKETS TO CHEVELLE FOR 2/26!!!!!!!!!! now if any of you ever doubted just how much i love these guys, let this reinforce that as much as possible. so we are going to chevelle... aw man im so stoked. ok- moving on...
then we went to Longhorn's Steak House. see, these boys are serious thinkers... steakhouse.. atkins... yup, they were on the ball. so we had a lovely steak dinner. they got drinks.. and i casually sipped at my underage ice water. boo. haha- dinner was delicious for the record.
then we went to the next event. went to regal and saw In Good Company, the new movie with Topher Grace and Dennis Quaid.. it was fairly entertaining.. but definetely a good time.
and i gave them their gifts. it was dorky, yet crafty. took a lotta thought.. but still could never compare to what they did for me. well- just so you guys arent in the dark.. i will tell you what it was i made for them:
i got 2 canvases. hot glued their names using color coded conversation hearts to the middle of the canvas. then printed out 20+ images per each canvas on sticky paper.. images of things that reminded me of them.. and that sorta deal.. and then put some shit over the pictures so that they couldnt peel off or anything. it was a futile attempt at being sweet. ahh- i tried.
so then we went for a drive in my car. keegan drove since he is now a standard driver. and a damn good one even tho he still has some trouble with taking his foot off the clutch too quickly sometimes. he's on the right track. <3
so yeah. that was it. it was nothing short of incredible. amazing. awesome. unbelievable. you get it.
the real question here is why? I HAVE NO IDEA. i literally have no clue why guys as wonderful as these even so much as give me the time of day.. nevermind spoil me like that. its quite remarkable. but it sorta kills me, you know what i mean. hard to deal with. too much. a lot to digest. hah. ok im stopping now.
today is like such a horrible day. you can tell im a little off just by the way im typing alone i bet. i just woke up with this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. work sucks today. i got pulled over by a fucking DETAIL cop.. i mean- does that even happen? i guess to me it does. so on that note. i gutta go.
